In 2010, the U.N. and NPR fought against young boys in drag
What was "exploitation" in 2010, NPR supports in 2023.
It is October of 2010.
And the United Nations of seeking to stop children being involved in drag shows in Afghanistan — which the U.N., at the time, declared to be “exploitation.”
NPR covered the U.N.’s fight against this exploitation of children in an article (and interview) entitled “UN Fights To Stop Exploitation Of Afghan's 'Dancing Boys'“.
A key paragraph from the piece:
“The focus on Afghanistan has also shed light on the way young boys have become vulnerable to exploitation. There's a specific practice called baccha bazi, which literally means playing with boys, that's come to light. It is a phenomenon of Afghan men using boys dressed up as women for entertainment.”
At the time, NPR agreed that dressing up young boys in drag was a bad thing. Exploitation, they said.
Flash forward to 2023 and the stance of both the U.N. and NPR has done a complete 180.
Nowadays, NPR regularly vilifies anyone who would seek to stop the exploitation of children. In 2023 NPR is an advocate for young boys being dressed as women for the entertainment of adults.
Something they fought against in 2010.
They have, literally, become the thing they used to fight against.
Both the NPR and U.N. went from 0 to Raging Pedophiles in 13 years.
