> group of actual Nazis, which are very left-wing.

How are Nazis left-wing? They disbanded trade unions, banned books like "Liberal Socialism," suppressed and killed LGBTQ people, and ran massive privatization efforts. And if they're left-wing, why are they the sworn enemies of Communists? I would love to hear you explore your conception of the political spectrum, and whether you agree it is multidimensional.

> I have not seen any of the conservative pundits [...] say "Kanye's got a point."

Have you not heard people like [Candace Owens](https://youtu.be/cBwnMNBmExQ) and [Steven Crowder](https://youtu.be/QEfdH86dhbk) (surely you'd agree they're right-leaning!) over their comments defending Kanye's extremist rhetoric, saying it's "imprecise" but "not wrong" and that he doesn't "hate" Jewish people? Are you not aware that Tim Pool's audience [largely sided with Ye](https://youtu.be/FXiHuLSAHyo) in the comments? Will you denounce them?

> this was one of a good half-dozen or so compelling reasons why I eventually left the Democratic Party.

Since I see more racism in the Republican Party than in the Democratic Party, I have to ask, was Trump wrong for lying about "not knowing anything about" David Duke in 2016? https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/fact-checker/wp/2016/03/01/donald-trump-and-david-duke-for-the-record/

Was "stand back and stand by" a "ready, eager" denunciation of the Proud Boys? I think not.

> They never respond. [...] I never see people on the Left take responsibility and say "they're bad! Sure they vote the way I do, but they're bad!"

If you have specific quotes of Ilhan Omar, I would be more than happy to discuss them. Obviously, there is a difference between Jewish people and the Israeli government just like there is a difference between Chinese people and the Chinese government, or between Iranian people and the Iranian government. An ethnicity of people living around the world is not the same as a government of one specific country, so you can make specific criticisms of a government's decisions without being prejudiced or anti-Semitic. Insofar that their comments went further than that, I will denounce them.

> in the tech industry, I see it happening regularly. There's companies I deal with that have done some pretty awful things. They've discriminated against people for being Jewish [...] People on the left, they just ignore it completely.

I am left-leaning, and I publicly denounced SUSE when you published your piece on them. We do exist. It's ironic that you'd paint with such a broad brush while criticizing liberals for generalizing conservatives, no?

> there will be no good response from people who are on the Left about this.

Well, since you made this prediction: I would like to invite you to have a conversation with people on the Left (even me!) about politics. I think it would be very constructive and interesting to find the common ground, and I promise to keep it civil. It's up to you.
